Hello! I have been active with AFSCME for the past 28 years currently working at Minnesota State University Mankato as an executive assistant to one of our Vice Presidents. We are stronger together and unions make life better and raise the standards for all working people. The only way to stop the attacks on our rights and protect our wages, pensions and health care is to come together. Union workers earn 25.6 percent more than nonunion workers. Ninety-four percent of union members have a retirement plan available compared to just 66 percent of those not in a union.
